Technological Process

The rotary drum granulation production line is a large-scale fertilizer production system that realizes the agglomeration of powder or slurry raw materials into granules through an inclined rotating cylinder (rotary drum), widely used in the manufacturing of granular fertilizers such as compound fertilizers, organic fertilizers, and bio-organic fertilizers. The production line consists of a rotary drum granulator, raw material pretreatment equipment, conveying system, dryer, cooler, screening machine, coating machine and packaging equipment. It utilizes the continuous rotation of the drum to make materials roll under the action of gravity, friction and lifting plates in the cylinder, forming uniform granules by adding water or binders. Suitable for medium and large fertilizer production enterprises, a single line can achieve a daily output of 20-100 tons. The produced granules are applicable to various crop planting, meeting the needs of mechanized fertilization and efficient absorption.

Variable-angle drum structure: The drum inclination angle can be adjusted within 2-5°, combined with the internal special angle lifting plate design, ensuring that materials form a stable "boiling layer" with particle roundness ≥85%.

Segmented temperature control system: The granulation section is equipped with a spray conditioning device, which can accurately control the material temperature (40-60℃) to improve the bonding effect; the drying section adopts multi-stage temperature control (80-120℃) to avoid nutrient damage by high temperature.

Wear-resistant and anti-stick lining: The inner wall of the drum is made of special wear-resistant ceramics or rubber liners, which are resistant to material scouring and not easy to stick to the wall, with a service life of more than 5000 hours, reducing downtime for cleaning.

Intelligent linkage control: Equipped with a PLC control system, it real-time collects parameters such as granulation current, material liquid level and particle size, automatically adjusts the feed amount and water addition, and realizes closed-loop stable production.

Modular expansion design: Secondary screening, return system or coating device can be added according to production capacity requirements. A single line can be expanded to an annual output of 100,000-300,000 tons, adapting to the production capacity upgrade of enterprises.
